BioTyler's love of storytelling began at a young age. In his time away from school, he would be found running around and creating elaborate plotlines that take place throughout every room of his family's Flint, Michigan home. As an adult, that passion for creating original narratives first manifested in the way of making music videos for a band called Botanica Chango. Through these first experiences on set, Tyler realized immediately that he wanted to be deeply involved in filmmaking. Soon after, he began taking on commercial projects around the world and writing his own narrative films.
Today, Tyler is in an internationally awarded filmmaker that appreciates being involved in all aspects of the process. In addition to writing and directing, he also shoots and edits his films. This hands on approach allows him to be involved in every part of the stories. |
The Sash Bag
The Sash Bag is a company based in San Diego, California. When Tyler began working with the brand, they were relying on sales from farmer's markets and maker's fairs. Since the brand started using Tyler's films in sponsored ads, online sales have changed the face of the business.
He has produced 3 Kickstarter videos for Sash that have collectively brought in over 1.4 million dollars of revenue. In addition, they have collaborated on dozens of social media marketing videos that have received over 40 millions views for the brand. |
Brand Stories
Lyre's Non-Alcoholic Spirits Co.
The voice and visuals of your brand are the key to connecting with potential customers. Australian-based Lyre's Spirits Co. knows how important that visual language is when marketing a product, so they collaborated with Tyler J. French to build a world for their 'Mr. Lyre' film.
With attention to detail and design in mind, he took on the challenge of creating a cinematic representation of the Lyre's universe. Tyler worked directly with the management team at Lyre's to produce film and photography shoots that were curated specifically for their unique brand. Lyre's is currently using to the film for a national activation to educated BevMo employees throughout the country. |

TESTIMONIALS
"This is the easiest rating I've ever done. Ive been filmed but I never feel like me when I watch footage. That's until I did a video with Future Loon. My video is something I'm proud of, I feel like me and that my voice and essence were truly captured. I showed up and spoke, Tyler directed, designed and executed a flawless vision." - Skyler M. "I wanted to put together a compilation of my Go-Pro footage from my trip to Cincinnati last year and Tyler did a great job making the pile of videos on my memory card seem like a story. I make my friends watch it over and over again." - Jenny B. |

CAPTURING YOUR MOMENT
Tyler is passionate about documenting the love and bond between couples. It is no coincidence that his partner in life and love, Monique Woolley (photographer), shares that passion.
Monique studied painting and art history in college, and her work has always reflected her interest in people watching. Monique began shooting weddings after graduating, and over the years cultivated her voyeuristic and moment-driven style. Together, they create a team that promises photography and film that you will be able to cherish as your love grows with age. |
